About

Njogu Grace is a passionate advocate for technology-driven social change, recognized globally for her leadership in empowering underserved communities through digital skills and sustainable innovation. She is a Women Techmaker Ambassador, two-time Kaggle mentor, Women in Big Data mentor, and Global Giveback Circle mentor, roles through which she actively supports the advancement of women and youth in data science and technology. As a Zindi Ambassador and Women in Data Science Ambassador, Njogu fosters inclusion and representation within the tech community, particularly for women in Africa.


Njogu is the 2024 African Women in Development Award nominee, a recognition of her efforts in promoting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially around gender equality, education, and clean energy. She has further demonstrated her commitment to sustainability as a Green Digital Skills trainer, equipping learners with the knowledge needed to apply technology for environmental impact. As the Team Leader at Tech for Inclusion Africa, she drives initiatives like mHealth4Everyone and Waste to Wonder, which focus on bridging healthcare and clean energy gaps in rural communities through tech innovation.


In addition, she is a Fellow of the Global Changemaker Fellowship (Cohort 4) and has worked extensively as a Business Development Services (BDS) provider for MSMEs, helping drive economic growth in Kenya. With a deep commitment to digital inclusion, Njogu has played an integral role in various capacity-building programs that advance economic empowerment through technology.
