Bonnita Tukwatanise is the Program Coordinator for Treescape Planet Organization, https://treescapeplanet.org/, leading conservation initiatives for endangered tree species and sustainable practices in Uganda.

With a background in community development, she has driven impactful projects, engaging and empowering local communities. She participated in the Sahara Impact Fellowship 2023 and the Tony Elumelu Foundation 2024, and is an alumnus of the Franklyn Institute of Leadership and Public Management, Class of 2024.

Bonnita is certified by FAO for Planning Seed and Seedling Supply for Forest and Landscape Restoration, LinkedIn Learning in Entrepreneurship Foundation, and the Project Management Institute in Project Stakeholder Management. She is also certified in Grant Management by Houston Executive Consulting. Under her leadership, Treescape Planet launched the "Greening Nakaseke Project," planting over 3,000 trees and educating on sustainable practices. She's also an author for Illuminem, a leading sustainability platform.
